About the role:

The Community Outreach Liaison leads efforts in identifying opportunities to promote partnerships with professional and referral sources. Also, conducts sales efforts with prospects for all levels of care within the community to meet and exceed budgeted occupancy while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Hours: Monday - Ffriday, alternating weekends, external sales

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes, builds, and maintains relationships with professional referral sources; ex: community leaders and healthcare professionals, to facilitate qualified referrals and establish the organization as an asset to the market area.
  • Creates interest in Lutheran Life Communities through participation in sales and marketing functions on and off campus, community organizations, and professional networking groups.
  • Serves as a sales and marketing representative for all aspects of the Community by maintaining thorough knowledge of programs and services.
  • Securing, organizing, hosting, and presenting community lectures, programs, and health fairs in efforts to gain referral sources and increase occupancy.
  • Strategically develop outreach plan that aligns with business objectives for occupancy and revenue growth, to be discussed with the Sales Director on a weekly basis.
  • Review results of the strategic plan weekly with the Sales Director and adjust accordingly to achieve and exceed key sales performance metrics.
  • Maintains all written and computerized records in accordance with Lutheran Life Communities policies, standards and procedures. Utilizes Lutheran Life Communities’ proprietary programs to maintain contacts and performance standards. Documents daily all activity in the CRM (customer relationship manager) program.
  • Ensures ongoing and effective follow-up with all referral sources as needed through initiating outbound follow-up calls, tours and other sales tactics as appropriate to meet established sales performance standards.
  • Participates in on call and after hour’s department coverage as assigned, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and outreach/sales experience preferably in public health, senior living/long term care or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing sophisticated CRM technology.
